In 2013 I started roasting our local annual street festival here in Princeton, Kentucky using memes.
The Genesis:
Technically I started making "Black Patch Memes" after I saw some "Vote Yes Memes" I'd made in 2012 when Princeton was finally voting to legalize alcohol sales 79 years after prohibitIon ended.

It led to some good ones.
Promoting Events
At some point I decided to do some free guerilla marketing and started using the memes as a way to bring awareness to some of the events.
